MARJORAM

Marjorana hortensis. A milder, sweeter version of oregano. Subtly coloured, Marjoram features soft green, oval-shaped leaves, and small pinkish-white flowers. Its delicate sweet yet slightly spicy flavour lends itself well to virtually any savoury dish. This low-growing Mediterranean native is an attractive groundcover or edging plant. It also performs well in containers.
