Crimson Flame is a mesmerizing alternative to the traditional red geranium. Its deep red base tone is contrasted against its hot pink edges giving off the illusion that the flower is glowing. The glossy green leaves and the semi-trailing habit are like that of an ivy geranium. It blooms all summer long even in low light conditions. Highly heat and drought resistant, plants grow best in a location with at least four hours of full sun. Crimson Flame is extremely well-branched, and its vigorous mounding habit is superb for hanging baskets, mixed containers, window boxes, and garden beds.
For best flower display, deadhead or remove spent blooms as needed especially after heavy rain.
