GERANIUM, Calliope™ Dark Red

Calliope represents a new class of geraniums after 14 years of breeding. This breakthrough plant is a cross between a zonal geranium and an ivy geranium, representing the best features of both. The amazing large flowers, like a zonal geranium, are semi-double and dark velvet red in colour. The glossy green leaves and the semi-trailing habit are like that of an ivy geranium. It blooms all-summer long even in low light conditions. Highly heat and drought resistant, plants grow best in a location with at least four hours of full sun. Calliope is extremely well-branched and its vigorous mounding habit is superb for hanging baskets, mixed containers, window boxes and garden beds.

For best flower display, deadhead or remove spent blooms as needed especially after heavy rain.
