Sugar Ann is incredible, tender sweet snap peas on short, bushy vines that can be grown with or without support. This extra early variety produces crisp, tasty 2 1/2″ (6cm) pods and has excellent resistance to diseases. Short season and cold tolerant, it is the perfect choice for urban gardens with limited space. An All-American Selections winner from 1984, Sugar Ann is still a garden stand-by. These deliciously sweet, dark green pods can be eaten raw, boiled or sautéed. Best to remove the string from pods before cooking.
