This AAS winner is by far a garden favourite. It produces heavy yields of 12″ (31 cm), light-tan fruit that keep exceptionally well. Each 3 – 6 lbs ((1.3 – 2.7 Kg) blocky pear-shaped squash has rich, creamy yellow-orange flesh with a delightful, nutty flavour. Not only famous for taste, this heirloom variety also has good resistance to disease.
